Job Summary
Deliver and service company rental equipment to job sites and events, including refueling diesel light towers. Provide direct training to newly hired and experienced Service Technicians, conduct daily safety-focused tailgate meetings, and participate in creating schedules for Service Technician III. Work closely with dispatch to determine equipment order priority, complete delivery/return logs, and address asset repair issues. Transport, retrieve, and move various equipment types while following prescribed safety procedures and federal laws. Communicate job order status via telephone or radiotelephone and promote available company services. Obtain a DOT medical card prior to commencing employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Safe driving record and acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely following all traffic laws and signs
- Ability to perform a job with the knowledge of policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective, local and state operations for the safety data, and property
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physically able to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to climb and lift ladders, able to work around cleaning products and equipment for chemical toilet service and repair
- Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL license not required)
- DOT medical card must be obtained prior to commencing employment
