Job Summary
Route/Service Coordinator is responsible for customer interactions, scheduling service appointments, optimizing routes, and supporting field operations. Key duties include handling inbound/outbound calls, greeting walk-in customers, scheduling service appointments/deliveries, creating and managing service tickets and work orders, coordinating with field technicians, maintaining accurate customer records, coordinating equipment collection/replacement, tracking service completion, and proposing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Strong emphasis on customer communication, scheduling accuracy, route optimization, data entry, and cross-functional collaboration with field teams. Proficiency in IFS or Salesforce and Microsoft Office is required; high school diploma or equivalent is required (advanced degrees preferred).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in IFS, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience in customer service, route coordination, or operations (preferred)
