Job Summary
Order, sell, and deliver fresh baked products to customers while maintaining strong relationships and managing delivery vehicle records. Expand shelf space, execute in-store promotions, and rotate products to maximize shelf life. Use data and marketing plans to drive customer growth through effective communication and execution. Work independently and as a team during designated service windows, often requiring early morning starts around 3:00am and non-traditional hours. Complete four weeks of company-paid training and adhere to all federal, state, and local CMV operation rules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Have had a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Must have a valid state driver's license and documented safe driving record
- Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines
- Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV
- Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4-week company paid training)
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a team
- Must have the ability to work non-traditional business hours
- Must be able to work varying workdays and early morning start times
- Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to plan and execute

- Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle
- Must be able to check delivery vehicle daily
- Must be able to keep accurate records
- Must be able to quickly report maintenance issues
- Must be able to fill out daily driver's logs, time logs, and hours of service
- Must be able to increase sales by expanding shelf space
- Must be able to creatively display in-store promotions and displays
- Must be able to maximize product shelf life by properly rotating products
- Must be able to service accounts during the customer's designated service windows
- Must come to work with a neat, professional appearance (sometimes in a uniform)
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience
- Delivery driver experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Prior experience as a delivery driver
