Job Summary
Route Sales Representative for Flowers Bakeries in NorCal engages in ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products; build and maintain customer relationships; check delivery vehicle, maintain records, logs, and hours of service; expand shelf space and execute in-store promotions; use data and marketing plans to drive customer growth; work independently and with customers in a DSD environment; early morning start around 3:00am with days off Wednesday and Sunday; training provided; must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record
- Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines
- Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV
- Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4-week company paid training)
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
