Job Summary
Route Sales Representative responsible for safely increasing Coastal Beverage Company’s market share in assigned accounts through in-person account visits, building professional relationships with decision-makers, and applying product knowledge and sales techniques. Role requires staying current with ABC and industry regulations, placing product orders, communicating with CSR and Merchandisers on special instructions or issues, analyzing and forecasting account activity, recommending sales improvements, ensuring pricing/POS accuracy, maintaining neat product coolers and back stock, maximizing opportunities with pricing promotions and new products, and achieving monthly sales goals. Requires maintaining vehicle integrity, adhering to safety practices, and compliance with internal policies and supplier agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Possess and display Coastal Beverage Company’s Core Values at all times
- Possess associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, 2-5 years of similar/related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess intermediate communication skills
- Possess intermediate math skills
- Possess intermediate reasoning skills
- Possess basic computer skills
- Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance
- Possess ability to obtain and maintain an active beer and wine sales license
- Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license, and a driving record compliant with company standards
