Job Summary
Cultivate relationships with grocery store managers and receiving personnel while delivering and selling products to established accounts. Transport products from company vehicles to retail establishments, effectively stocking shelves and loading/unload bread baskets following proper lifting protocols. Preplan and fulfill specific orders for each customer, utilizing an iPad to manage route activities, order tracking, and communication. Identify opportunities to generate additional business and implement strategies to minimize product expiration. Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. Maintain a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical examination. Work a route in the wholesale baking and distribution industry, representing the brand with enthusiasm and dedication.
Required Qualifications
- Enjoy engaging with people and prefer an active role over desk work
- Strong driving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Clean 3-year driving record
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
- Meet the minimum age requirement of 21
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening
- Basic math skills
- Strong work ethic
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and dedication
