Job Summary
Prospect and engage new customers within assigned routes, referring qualified leads to the Sales Department. Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and resolve service concerns by communicating with decision-makers. Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management while maintaining accurate inventories and customer files. Handle payments, credits, and change orders accurately, and monitor accounts for competitive activity. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain truck cleanliness, and load/unload products up to 500 lbs. Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver. Requires a valid Driver's License and CDL when applicable, with two years of relevant experience in sales or customer service. Hourly base pay is $23.25.
Required Qualifications
- Have and maintain a valid Driver's License, CDL when applicable, and be 21 years or older
- Maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, comprehend and follow direction
- Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work
- Accurately recognize colors and sizes
- Stoop, pull, push, reach overhead, lift up to 75 lbs. and move loaded carts up to 500 lbs.
- Daily travel, operating vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, loading areas of industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depot
- Indoor and outdoor areas of industrial laundry facilities
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background and safety-sensitive drug screening
