Job Summary
Conduct daily sale and distribution of products on designated routes while ensuring accounts are merchandised and stocked according to company standards. Manage Point of Sale advertising, maintain proper accounting of product and cash, and invoice customers to collect monies due. Foster strong customer relationships through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up while monitoring competitor activities. Perform required vehicle and load checks, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to all safety and quality assurance protocols. Travel approximately 10% to other locations and attend out-of-town training, with availability for weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of starting in position
- Must have the ability to operate a Class A CDL tractor and trailer
- Must understand and remain in compliance with all CDL requirements
- Must have a motor vehicle driving history that meets CCBCHC guidelines
- Must be able to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements
- Must be able to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds
- Must be able to reach above head height
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to reach
- Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10%
- Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays
- Requires pre-employment drug testing
- Must adhere to an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 years of general work experience preferred
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck
- Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks
