Route Relief Utility Driver

Job Summary
Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time while providing outstanding customer service to build loyalty. Communicate with decision-makers to proactively resolve service concerns and handle payments, credits, and change orders accurately. Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files while following Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management. Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain truck cleanliness, and load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code. Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- CDL when applicable
- 21 years or older
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to comprehend and follow direction
- Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work
- Accurate color and size recognition
- Ability to stoop, pull, push, reach overhead, lift up to 75 lbs, and move loaded carts up to 500 lbs
- Support for other service team members where required
- Ability to operate vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, loading areas of industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depot
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor areas of industrial laundry facilities
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code
- Ability to collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver
- Background and safety sensitive drug screening completion
