Job Summary
Route Relief/Utility Driver for Alsco Uniforms: covers routes, performs service-related tasks, up-sell/cross-sell, and delivers textiles with the Service Department. Reports to the District Manager. Responsibilities include learning and supporting all routes, running routes for holidays/vacations, assisting with rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training, soliciting new customers, educating customers, maintaining route paperwork, ensuring timely and correct deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and conducting inspections, handling customer payments, and providing outstanding customer service while building relationships and resolving concerns in cooperation with supervision. Qualifications emphasize a valid driver's license/CDL (as applicable), 21+, driving safely, and strong communication and customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduation or similar experience
- Have and maintain a valid Drivers License, CDL when applicable
- 21 years or older
- Drive a delivery vehicle safely and maintain accurate route paperwork
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
- Team player
- Demonstrate customer service and route sales skills
