Job Summary
Route Relief/Utility Driver covers routes and performs service-related tasks, including upsell/cross-sell efforts and maintaining timely deliveries of complete textile loads. Responsibilities include learning and supporting all routes, running routes during holidays/vacations, assisting in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, and training; building relationships with customers, communicating openly, educating customers, and proactively resolving concerns with supervision; safely operating delivery vehicles in accordance with laws and company policy; handling route paperwork and maintaining inventories; and supporting other service personnel as needed. Key skills include customer service, route sales ability, English communication, time management, and a team-oriented mindset. Reports to the District Manager and works full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (CDL when applicable)
- 21 years or older
- High School graduation or equivalent
- Minimum one year of safe and successful driving experience
- Excellent customer service and route sales skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication in English
- Ability to count, add and subtract accurately
- Ability to manage route paperwork and inventories
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and perform vehicle inspections
- Ability to follow company policies/procedures and work with supervision
