Job Summary
Delivery driver role for local FedEx-style routes: perform residential and business package deliveries with up to 150 stops per day, operate and inspect a delivery vehicle, load/unload cargo, and use scanners while providing customer service. Paid training provided; must meet age and licensing requirements, pass drug and DOT screenings, and succeed in background checks. Work may involve lifting heavy loads, varying weather, and delivering alcohol where permitted by law. Benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision/life insurance, disability, paid vacation, and a sign-on bonus. Must be able to work regular full-time or part-time schedules from Richmond, CA, with no CDL requirement for the role. Consent to SMS communications included.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
- Pass a DOT physical
- Able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Be on time and ready to work
- Be able to climb stairs
- Be able to work in all types of weather
- Strong work ethic and attitude
- 5 continuous years of verifiable residency within the US and proper employment authorization, working visa or permanent residency
- Delivery of packages to businesses and residences (up to 150 stops per day)
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- Accurate scanner operation and delivery tracking
- Excellent customer service
