Job Summary
Operate company trucks to collect used cooking oil from customer locations across Central Texas, performing bin deliveries, swaps, and equipment placement at sites. Maintain accurate route logs, collection volumes, and service notes while ensuring safe operation of pumps, hoses, and tanks. Assist with plant operations including unloading, filtering, and transferring oil, and perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. Support inventory management for bins and parts, refine route efficiency, and represent Northern Gulf professionally at all customer locations. Communicate service issues, access challenges, or equipment needs directly. This is a hands-on role with a clear pathway to Operations Manager as the region scales, offering training and development opportunities for those eager to grow into leadership overseeing routes, drivers, and operational workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class B minimum)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in outdoor environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Experience with pump systems, vacuum trucks, grease traps, or liquid hauling
- Mechanical aptitude (hoses, fittings, pumps, minor repairs)
- Experience in waste collection, environmental services, or food service logistics
