Job Summary
Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities while observing all traffic laws and road conditions. Perform a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and condition to ensure it meets DOT requirements. Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and clear communication with company and customer personnel. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, at least one year of box truck experience, and the ability to lift over 60 pounds. Schedule includes Monday through Friday from 6:30 am until finish, with no weekends. Chadwell Supply, a family-owned maintenance company with 29 branches nationwide, offers competitive pay ranging from $24.50 to $25.50 per hour based on verifiable driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Good physical condition
- Capability to lift in excess of 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb steps and ladders
- Capability to bend, stoop, and carry products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience
