Job Summary
Operate a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities while observing all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions. Perform a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and tire condition to ensure general road worthiness and DOT compliance. Provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and clear communication with company and customer personnel. Maintain good physical condition for lifting over 60 pounds and standing for extended periods. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 am to finish with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Good physical condition
- Capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Capable of climbing steps and ladders
- Capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience
