Job Summary
Route Driver responsible for safely loading, delivering, and unloading cylinders containing compressed gases and hard goods orders; performing DOT pre- and post-trip inspections; completing FDA/DOT paperwork; tracking deliveries with handheld devices; maintaining truck cleanliness per DOT standards; communicating with supervisors and customers to address maintenance, delivery efficiency, and customer needs; operating forklift and pallet jack; ensuring safety and proper cylinder levels, minimizing emergency deliveries; establishing strong customer relations and adhering to DOT safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year driving experience
- CDL A or B with Hazmat Endorsement
- Clean MVR driving record
- Able to lift 65 lbs
- Meet DOT physical qualification standards
- Ability to read MSDS
- Physical ability to stand/walk/bend/use hands for extended periods
- Flexibility to work overtime
