Route Driver- Mount Vernon, IL

Route Driver responsible for representing Spee Dee Delivery by delivering and picking up freight, inspecting the vehicle for issues, loading/unloading to maximize space and prevent damage, and handling payments for certain packages. Requires operating a manual transmission (or willingness to learn), strong customer service, ability to work independently, and meeting minimums such as 21+ years old, valid driver’s license with good driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to route completion with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and optional voluntary OT on weekends; starting pay $20.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience.
