Job Summary
Deliver assigned loads to final destinations while maintaining safe driving practices, neat vehicles, and accurate invoice documentation. Verify shipment contents, manage route sheets after every stop, and handle inventory discrepancies or damaged products by returning them with tax stamps. Operate box trucks or tractor-trailers to follow assigned routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch regarding delays. Load and unload cargo, assist in unloading based on location needs, and provide superb customer service to guests. Maintain a clear driving record, adhere to all safety regulations, and manage stress in a fast-paced environment while working in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Texas driver's license
- Must be over the age of 21
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus

Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of driving experience
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
- Experience as a route driver or in a similar driving role
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items
- Experience operating a forklift or other warehouse equipment
- Commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
- Experience in moving or courier services
