Job Summary
Operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to deliver goods safely and efficiently, following assigned routes and schedules while maintaining accurate delivery records and vehicle inspections. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle standards. Communicate with dispatch or supervisors regarding issues or delays, provide excellent customer service at delivery locations, and manage inventory variances by verifying shipment contents and returning damaged products. Maintain a clear driving record, adhere to all traffic laws and OSHA regulations, and use industrial machines to move pallets up to 2,400 pounds. Work full-time or part-time shifts, including weekends, in all weather conditions while demonstrating strong time management and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Texas driver's license
- Must be over the age of 21
- Must be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos
- Must be able to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus
- Must be responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools
- Must be able to use a industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of driving experience
