Job Summary
Collect and transport raw materials from a broad customer base, ranging from small-scale butchers to large slaughterhouses, back to facilities and transfer stations using a straight truck or tractor-trailer. Manage your daily route with an onboard computer while maintaining a backup paper log for compliance. Keep your vehicle clean and complete a daily condition report, providing professional service to clients and adhering to all laws and regulations. Operate in the local Newark area as a full-time role with home nightly, including opportunities for regular overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Authorized to work in the US
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker and doubles & triples endorsements
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle in a route delivery setting
- Experience with truck hydraulics
- Customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
