Job Summary
Route Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up freight, inspecting the vehicle for mechanical issues, loading the truck efficiently, and maintaining professional appearance. The role includes collecting payments for certain packages, verifying contents of pickups on shipping papers, and reporting discrepancies to management. Candidates should be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to learn, possess strong customer service skills, and have the ability to work independently. Requirements include at least 21 years of age, HS diploma or equivalent preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen/criminal background check. Overtime and occasional weekend OT are possible; starting pay is $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications

- Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check
