Deliver safe, efficient distribution of industrial gases and related hard goods to customers using a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsements; responsibilities include route optimization, verifying loads and manifests, operating forklifts, performing pre/post vehicle inspections, ensuring correct placards and weight, and complying with DOT and safety regulations while using electronic logbooks and scanners to record deliveries. Requires ability to load/unload, handle cylinders, and adapt to varying shifts with potential overtime; on-site full-time role with benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsements
- DOT regulations and tests passed
- Ability to operate forklift (manual/automatic)
- Computer skills or ability to improve competence
- Pre/post vehicle inspection
- Ability to verify cylinders and shippers against manifests
- Ability to ensure proper placards and load security
- Experience with electronic handheld for scanning
