Job Summary
Deliver Open Hand/Good Measure Meals to designated locations using the delivery application and route sheets. Load assigned package meals, verify product counts, and inspect the vehicle daily before departure. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles, transport equipment, and the distribution area. Provide client services, handle distribution, and ensure documentation for non-delivered meals. Initiate LEAN work processes, take ownership of issues, and assist with training new staff. Requires one year of route driving experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Primary residence must be in the state of Georgia
- Maintain clean MVR to remain eligible to drive
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
- Ability to communicate to staff, volunteers and clients appropriately
- Display great respect to all staff, clients, volunteers and stakeholders of Open Hand
- Take action in the best interest of Open Hand
- Adhere to all Open Hand safety guidelines, rules and regulations, company policy manual, code of conduct and attendance policy
- Take pride in having no delivery errors and high customer confidence
- Respond positively to instruction and feedback
- Complete tasks/projects in a timely manner and communicates status
- One year of route driving experience
- Current valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Drug free workplace compliance
- Pass random drug testing
