Job Summary
Route Delivery Driver for Empire Distributors Inc in the Chattanooga area. Responsible for operating a vehicle safely under state/federal regulations, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, securing and loading products, delivering per invoices and customer requirements, recording start/stop times with company devices, processing invoices and payments, maintaining load integrity and security, handling deposits, and completing training modules (Worklete, Pro-Tread). Must maintain professional appearance, communicate shortages/overages, and resolve customer issues when possible. Requires high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and valid driver license with F endorsement, DOT Medical Card, and related permits. Familiarity with load security, invoice matching, and adherence to DOT regulations is expected; proficiency with basic computer tasks and driving with a positive, safety-focused attitude is essential.
