Route cleaner

Perform cleaning duties along assigned routes, including sweeping, litter removal, and debris disposal. Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently to maintain cleanliness of streets, sidewalks, and designated public or commercial areas. Follow scheduled route plans and complete assignments within designated timeframes while reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or irregularities along the route. Properly handle and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting mechanical issues to supervisors. Prior experience in cleaning, sanitation, janitorial, or grounds maintenance is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
