Job Summary
Monitor meters, gauges, pumps, and compressors while interpreting instrument readings and maintaining production data. Start, operate, and perform routine maintenance on facility equipment, including operating pedestal/boom cranes for personnel and supply transfer. Handle and mix chemicals, oils, and acids in large containers, ensuring proper equipment use. Notify supervisors of maintenance issues requiring corrective action and participate in safety training, first aid, and emergency drills. Operate radio and telephone communications for platform logistics and reporting. Follow safety procedures and maintain safety data. Work a 5/2 schedule with on-call rotation; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Tinsley, MS. Marine or helicopter transport may be required for worksite access.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must live within a 50 mile radius
- Must be able to work a 5/2 schedule
- Must be able to travel to worksite via marine or helicopter transport
- Must be able to reside at worksite on a predetermined work rotation schedule

- 6 months of oil and gas production experience
