Job Summary
Locate underground services, adjust hand wheels, and coordinate machine actions to maneuver equipment for topsoil removal, earth leveling, and pipe installation. Check fuel supplies, conduct housekeeping duties on site and company vehicles, and perform basic automotive maintenance including proper tool recognition. Drive and maneuver equipment equipped with blades in successive passes over working areas. Complete daily invoices and learn to follow safety regulations while avoiding potential hazards. Work in all weather conditions with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge and experience performing environmental operation functions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Commerical driver's license or ability to obtain a CDL
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Willing to work in all weather condition
