Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by safely flying helicopters to and from facilities while ensuring aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans manuals. Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation, communicate with dispatch and flight crews, and provide shift change information following protocol. Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training. Work a 7/7 schedule at most locations with on-duty housing, earning a starting salary of $88,759 to $97,635 plus bonuses. As part of Global Medical Response's emergency and patient relocation services, collaborate with a team of medical experts to deliver compassionate care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
