Job Summary
Conduct safe medical air transportation for Med-Trans customers by working with a team of medical experts to transport patients to and from facilities. Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation. Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, and partners while providing shift change information following protocol. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training. This VFR position offers a starting salary of $88,759–$97,635 plus up to 27% geographic modifier, a 15K sign-on bonus, and 40K retention bonus after three years. A 7/7 schedule is available at most locations with on-duty housing. As part of Global Medical Response, the team delivers compassionate emergency and patient relocation care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
