Job Summary
Operate helicopter under FAA regulations to deliver air ambulance missions, planning and executing flights while accounting for weather, weight and balance, and fuel requirements. Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch to ensure seamless mission execution, maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs, and represent the company professionally with patients and the public. Requires extensive flight experience, instrument rating/ATP, and a current FAA medical certificate; position based in Ogden, Utah with a 40-hour workweek and a competitive hourly pay range, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher)
- 2,500 hours of total flight time in a helicopter
- 100 hours of cross-country flight – 25 hours at night
- 75 actual or simulated instrument hours
- 100 hours of unaided night flight time
- Pass a 135.293 check ride within the first 60 days of hire
