Job Summary
Trim excess plastic from parting lines, inspect products, and assemble items according to work instructions while selecting correct hand tools. Perform assigned tasks to meet time standards and quality expectations, accounting for all work via written documents. Resolve basic manufacturing issues through problem-solving or by seeking assistance, and report material, production, and quality control problems. Maintain compliance with safety standards and rotate to other positions as needed. Work in a hot environment for up to 8-10 hours daily with mandatory overtime to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Able to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance record
- Able to multi-task and rotate to other positions and/or departments
- Push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to twist, turn, extend, pivot, duck, crawl, climb, crouch, bend, stoop, carry, and walk briskly
- Must be a team player and work well in a team environment
- Must be able to maintain continual improvement
- Work in a hot environment and stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
- Mandatory OT as needed to meet production schedules and goals
- High attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiency
- Demonstrated detail orientation
- Self-motivation skills
- Ability to multi task
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with overhead crane use
