Job Summary
Assembler I is responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity at assigned assembly stations within the Roto department. Tasks include basic to intermediate assembly (cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting, and using self-tapping screws), material handling and labeling, packaging finished goods, and following department procedures. The role requires following a prism-based schedule, using hand and power tools, operating ERP/ESP systems, cross-training across multiple assembly lines, maintaining attendance and KPI targets, and complying with PPE and safety guidelines while working with a team to achieve departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
