Rotating Mechanical Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct mechanical inspections for pressure vessels, piping systems, and storage tanks in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans and project specifications. Witness and review critical activities including welding, fabrication, NDT, hydrotesting, and installation while verifying compliance with ASME, API, and Aramco standards. Review and validate Welding Procedure Specifications, Procedure Qualification Records, and welder qualifications. Identify non-conformities, support Non-Conformance Report issuance, and prepare detailed inspection reports and logs. Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and timeline requirements. This role supports inspection activities for a major oil and gas project in Saudi Arabia, requiring mandatory certifications such as AWS Senior CWI, CSWIP 3.2, and API 570, 510, and 653.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection practices in oil & gas projects
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering OR 2-year Industrial/Technical Diploma in Mechanical discipline
- Minimum 6 years of inspection experience (for Engineering Degree holders)
- Minimum 12 years of inspection experience (for Diploma holders)
- AWS Senior CWI or CSWIP 3.2
- API 570 (Piping Inspector)
- API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector)
- API 653 (Storage Tank Inspector)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Saudi Aramco standards and approvals (preferred)
- Familiarity with EPC projects involving metallic and non-metallic systems
- Hands-on experience in NDT methods (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT)
