Job Summary
Assist with the installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery while performing preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment. Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to support repairs, component replacements, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used via CMMS or job tracking systems. Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs while demonstrating the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision. Maintain a safe and clean work environment complying with company and industry safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–4+ years of experience in an industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
