Job Summary
Rotating Engineer at CF Industries to provide machinery engineering and field support for the Courtright site. Own rotating equipment to optimize performance, collaborate with capital projects and maintenance, and guide safe design and mechanical integrity to drive reliability improvements. Responsibilities include EH&S participation, design-detail reviews for equipment meeting process requirements, technical evaluations and problem investigations, leading machinery repairs/overhauls, advising on overhaul frequency and planning, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating with Engineering and Maintenance teams to promote teamwork and project execution. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with P.Eng and 5-10 years in rotating equipment in an industrial plant; knowledge of API standards; willingness to work at Courtright, Ontario, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with P. Eng designation
- minimum 5-10 years’ experience related to Rotating Equipment engineering in an industrial plant
- in-depth knowledge of compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps, fans/blowers, large industrial motors and steam turbines
- Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Standards (API 610, 611, 617, 682, 687 etc.)
