Job Summary
Assemble rotary unions and related products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures. Perform functional testing, pressure testing, and final inspections to verify product performance and quality. Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work orders while using hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments safely. Identify and report quality issues, damaged components, or assembly discrepancies, and maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Assist with troubleshooting assembly and test issues while working closely with engineering and production teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures. This role requires a high school diploma, two years of mechanical assembly experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotating mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management system
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to obtain certification)
