Job Summary
Assist the Rotary Die Cut Operator with keeping equipment running and checking quality while filling containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution, and ink as needed. Mount plates, communicate with the operator regarding delivery problems, and complete required quality inspections and paperwork. Palletize stacks of finished product on ski, repair or assist maintenance in machine repairs, and play an active role in equipment maintenance and cleanliness. Understand job ticket information for quantity, stock specifications, colors, and special printing instructions, then perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
- Good mathematical skills

- Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Ability to understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors, special printing instructions and any special customer requirements
- Ability to fill containers of cleaning solvents, water, fountain solution and ink as needed
- Ability to assist with mounting plates
- Ability to communicate with the operator when problems come up on the delivery end
- Ability to assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product
- Ability to complete required quality inspections and paperwork
- Ability to work with peers and other department to improve quality and performance
- Ability to palletize stacks of finished product
- Ability to repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
- Ability to play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
- Ability to understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
- 2nd shift availability (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
