Job Summary
Rostering Coordinator position in Bundaberg to provide rostering and administrative support for SIL, Community and Skills Campus. Responsibilities include coordinating rosters for SIL, Community and Skills Campus staff, ensuring correct skill mix, monitoring staff availability and attendance, coordinating shift replacements for scheduled and unscheduled leave, monitoring holiday relief and recruitment needs, ensuring rosters for all sites are accurate, assisting management with rostering issues, and participating in on-call rosters as required. Requires strong rostering/administrative experience, excellent communication, ability to manage competing demands, attention to detail and data entry accuracy, confidentiality, and a customer-focused, problem-solving approach. Mandatory checks include NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card, Blue Card, and a valid Driver’s Licence.
Required Qualifications
- Have previous rostering experience and/or a strong admin background
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to manage competing demands of a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Positive, empathetic, helpful approach and ability to work within a confidential environment
- Solution-focused, flexible and able to find alternative solutions
- Demonstrate confidentiality and awareness of diversity and sensitive issues
- Great customer care skills and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Current Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Blue Card
- Current Driver’s License
