Job Summary
Provide personal assistance to clients in daily living activities while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities include supervising clients during activities, maintaining compliance with health policies and regulations, reporting changes in clients' conditions to supervisors, and identifying safety hazards. Requires effective communication, ability to support and mentor coworkers, and physical capabilities such as lifting and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- Pleasant and cheerful demeanor
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to recognize differences in sounds
- Ability to exercise patience, tact, initiative, judgment, and confidentiality
- Completion of required training requirements
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for over 75% of the shift
