Job Summary
Deliver engaging guest experiences at the Union Station Aquarium by educating, entertaining, and inspiring guests throughout their visit. Drive customer satisfaction, maximize sales opportunities related to the guest experience, maintain a safe and clean facility, monitor guest flow, and coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience. Must pass ropes course certification and be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in heights up to 50 feet. Team-oriented with a focus on training, safety, and KPI achievement; weekends/holidays and varying schedules may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass ropes course certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk and climb/balance for long periods
- Comfortable working in a harness at heights up to 50 feet
