Ropes Access Technician (Starship)

Ropes Access Technician responsibilities include evaluating and developing safe ropes access solutions, managing equipment and processes for safe operations, climbing to set up ropes access for teammates, hauling personnel and equipment, and ensuring adherence to SPRAT/IRATA guidelines. The role involves training team members, developing rigging for large assemblies, working at heights on temporary or permanent access solutions, operating personnel platforms, reading engineering drawings, following procedures and instructions, collaborating with engineers to develop access solutions, and ensuring timely, safe production services. Preferred qualifications include IRATA or SPRAT Level 3, experience with mechanical or welding work when not performing ropes access, and experience in aerospace or high-reliability environments. Must be able to lift significant weights, travel up to 25%, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work all shifts including overtime and weekends.
