Job Summary
Conduct standard rope access operations to perform maintenance, repairs, and industrial work tasks on petrochemical equipment while on ropes. Inspect and verify rope access systems before use, recognize worksite hazards, and maintain proficiency in rescue techniques. Assist in rescues as directed and adhere to IRATA/SPRAT standards, OSHA procedures, and client safety requirements. Perform physically demanding activities including climbing, balancing, lifting, and carrying tools. Maintain a safe, secure environment by ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage and completing required training. Long-term assignments in Whiting, IN; final compensation based on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- IRATA / SPRAT Level I, II, or III certification
- Current TWIC Card
- NCCER Certified
- capacity for work at height
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- CPR certification
