Job Summary
The Rooms Division Manager will lead the Front Office and Housekeeping teams in a boutique hotel environment and take ownership of overall performance, service culture, and team engagement. Responsibilities include balancing hands-on leadership with accountability for guest satisfaction, service consistency, and operational efficiency. The role demands a proven ability in managing labor in alignment with business needs, enhancing team skills through coaching, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Ideal candidates will have a hands-on leadership style, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement and team performance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a senior Rooms, Front Office, or Rooms Division leadership role within a hotel environment
- Demonstrated experience leading both Front Office and Housekeeping departments
- Strong understanding of Rooms-related KPIs, labour management, and service recovery
- Experience working with Marriott systems such as Lightspeed, MARSHA, or other Marriott platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Pre-opening experience and familiarity with Marriott or lifestyle hotel brands
- Experience in a boutique, full-service hotel environment
