Job Summary
Manage guest room assignments, conduct out-of-order room plans, and balance daily, weekly, and monthly hotel and villa room inventory. Assign rooms based on guest requests, communicate availability to appropriate departments, and strategize room plans to ensure maximum selling capacities and efficient check-ins. Review group resumes, execute internal reservation requests, and provide accurate information regarding house counts and guest service requirements. Ensure compliance with resort policies, maintain account integrity, and offer training as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be neat, clean, well-groomed, courteous, and possess a pleasing personality.
- Must have a good rapport with people and have a genuine concern for the guest's well-being.
- Applicants must have a high school diploma, preferably with some college or technical training.
- One year's experience as a Front Desk/Reservations Supervisor, or at least two years' experience as a Front Desk or Reservation Sales Agent to be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of foreign languages (Spanish, German, and French) will be considered a definite plus.
