Rooms Controller

Block guestrooms and balance room types to enhance revenue opportunities and deliver GPS. Manage Out of Order and Out of Service room inventory by coordinating with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Desk while updating the Revenue Management team. Block VIPs and identified members into upgraded room types, allocating proper reservations generated by the front desk. Actively participate in Group Strategy meetings to manage inventory down to the room type level. Ensure inventory across Galaxy, ROS, and Valhalla systems remains balanced and take corrective action on variances. Handle moderately complex issues and provide leadership coaching to subordinates under general supervision.
