Room Service Server

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a Marriott hotel, set tables according to event/service standards, and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Record transactions in MICROS at time of order, check in with guests to ensure satisfaction, maintain cleanliness of work areas, complete closing duties, present and process payment, and adhere to safety, uniform, and confidentiality policies. Maintain professionalism, develop positive working relationships, and assist guests with disabilities while following company policies and safety trainings. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds independently (assistance for heavier items). Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; no supervisory experience required; no license or certification required.
