Job Summary
Deliver room service meals and snacks to patients, ensuring timely delivery within 45 minutes of order placement. Set up trays within reach, properly identify patients using two identifiers, and assist with bedside ordering for those with special needs. Collect payments, coordinate dirty tray exchanges with the Dish Room Attendant, and maintain cleanliness in nourishment and waiting areas while monitoring floor stock par levels. Communicate effectively with the Call Center and Shift Supervisor regarding patient needs, complaints, and tray errors. Full-time role from 6:30am to 3:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively with patients
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff
- Must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
