Job Summary
Supervise room service representatives, expeditors, floor stockers, and dish room attendants to ensure orderly meal delivery and HACCP compliance. Conduct meal rounds, tray counts, and accuracy audits while maintaining records for financial and quality control monitors. Hold pre-service meetings, assist with employee training on diets, and correct staff not adhering to department policies. Ensure tray tickets print on time and resolve patient meal issues promptly. Report discrepancies and document incidents to the supervisor. Full-time role from 11:30am to 8:00pm. Assists the Room Service Supervisor with projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- Lifting capability limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff
- Ability to use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with lifts over maximum limits
