Room Service Order Taker

Room Service Order Taker responsible for serving food courses and beverages to guests, answering questions on menu selections, and communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability. Records transactions in MICROS at time of order, checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction, and maintains cleanliness of service areas. Performs closing duties, processes payments, and adheres to safety and security policies. Maintains professional appearance and language, supports team goals, and handles allergies and dietary requests with the kitchen. Requires ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds unaided and up to 50 pounds with assistance, and move on varied surfaces. Preferred: High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year related experience. No supervisory responsibilities noted. Marriott International location: Bangalore, India.
