Job Summary
Arrange room service carts professionally, maintain adequate supplies, and ensure complete menu knowledge. Direct guests, answer questions, and operate the Point of Service System to handle concerns and handle alcoholic beverages. Deliver guest food orders and amenities while performing other duties as assigned. Complete fundamental mathematics and demonstrate organizational skills for paperwork and work areas. This part-time, year-round role includes 50% fast-paced shifts, primarily 1st shift with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Union seniority determines scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete RAMP training by passing the required test within the established probationary period
- Must demonstrate a capacity to operate the Point of Sale system and complete elementary math functions
- Must be responsible for cash, credit card, and room charge handling
- Must demonstrate complete organizational skills both in paperwork and work area
- Must be able to communicate effectively to co-workers and other staff
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment 50% of the shift
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop and push up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to work in a safe and professional manner
- Candidates must be able to meet schedule requirements which will most likely include evening and weekend hours
